Laurie A. Niego joined Schwartz Jambois as a law clerk in May of 2003. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Niego attended Francis Marion University, where she received a Bachelor's Degree of Business Administration in Business Economics in 2003.

Ms. Niego worked as law clerk while simultaneously being a full-time student at The John Marshall Law School. She obtained her law degree in 2007. During her time working as a law clerk for Schwartz Jambois, Ms. Niego assisted in all aspects of preparing medical malpractice and complex personal injury cases for trial. Ms. Niego worked on several medical malpractice trials and complex personal injury trials before beginning her career as an attorney.

In November of 2007, Ms. Niego was admitted to the Illinois State Bar and was promoted to an associate at Schwartz Jambois. She concentrates her practice in the area of medical malpractice, wrongful death, personal injury, motor vehicle negligence, and product liability cases. Ms. Niego is passionate about representing injured people and their families, and she has helped secure numerous verdicts and settlements on behalf of her clients. As an associate attorney, she continues to handle medical malpractice and complex personal injury cases and has obtained a number of multi-million dollar settlements and verdicts, resulting in awards totaling over $30 million.
